They are indeed broken...
In FF I get nothing. In IE I get an error in the status bar.
So I guess no flaming n00bs for not searching while this is broken, since they cant search now that it is only a dropdown, and dropdown is broken.

The reason none of the drop downs are working is because of a javascript error. Who ever added the Google analytics did not properly close the previous script tag.
If you disable javascript with something like the developer tools in FF, all the links will work without the fancy dropdown effect.
Code:
<script type="text/javascript">
<!--
// Main vBulletin Javascript Initialization
vBulletin_init();
//-->
</script> is needed here!!!!
<script src="http://www.google-analytics.com/urchin.js" type="text/javascript">
</script>
<script type="text/javascript">
_uacct = "UA-465956-1";
_udn="mp3car.com";
_udn="mp3car.com";
_udn="mp3car.com";
_udn="mp3car.com";
_udn="mp3car.com";
urchinTracker();
</script>

All that because of 1 line of text!

Can I have the newbie label removed? As a web dev, the error was easy to spot.

This is strange, because it was working before adding the SEO mod.
I guess that the SEO mod messed with it for some reason?
