Sygic Drive PC
Just got sygic working in the car with Nordic maps today, the fluent graphics are really nice, and it the gui seems to be quite intuitive. Have any of you guys been using it for actual directions or just on the pc at home ?

This looks very promising, i like the fluent 3d graphics on the map engine. Did you get a trial version from them yet ?

I just sent them a quick e-mail. I only see Windows Mobile, Symbian, and Linux versions on their site - no Windows XP / Windows Vista.

try allview.ro...
and exist an version in Poland
but the allview is not an good company, they didn't send me an invoice, an serial number, activation key etc...
but the soft is great..
allview is an distributor. but you don't buy anything from them

Thanks for the link, they actually have a downloadable XP version there, although only with Romanian maps, but i think it might be ok for demo.

Found this thread, where it seems that the sygic software also runs windowed, with the following parameters i run it in 800x550 and its placed at 0,50 and no startup splash screen is used.

Don't send money to ALLVIEW.ro (buy online)
I bought it last month, but they don't send INVOICE, and they don't send a good activation key and the SERIAL number for Online registration
SO BEWARE!!!!!
DON'T BUY IT FROM ALLVIEW.RO!!!!!!!
a paid 150€ for it...

the program is in pre-alfa state it has lot of bug.
-the poi icon is very small
-in case of speed-cam warning (sometime crash/freeze)
-etc...
