I was looking for a skin with HDRadio support skinned already in but figured BMV2 should work just fine for FM radio.
None would tune...only 2 thing could be wrong:
1- the cable
2- my setting, and I'll bet it's me...FYI; I've check...nothing is muted
I've been working from inside the car not wanting to pull the PC out...guess I have no choice.

We'll thats the radio trunning on. Have you config LSX radio to be HD though the Audio Player CFG screen? Other than that I'am not sure what it could be. Try not setting the Line-In.
I also have a m10K and here is my working rr.ini for the Visteon HD Radio
[Radio]
radiomode=8
allowallfreqs=false
radioline=0
userbds=false
[Extra's]
HDRadioport=1

Mithc just suggested what I would have.
Install the .net stuff, install his utility and see if it works. If it doesn't, you've got a line muted somewhere or and install problem, not RR or a skin issue.................

Void 3.2
Working but chasing down reception issues (not related to skin or rr, probably my install).
Few points:
.net (but you have this already)
Make sure you have the newest void 3.2 download (if that's what you're using)
Run the files in the HDradio folder (ie runmefirst, dll file, etc)
RR.ini settings as described in thread (bluezx3's config utility makes this easy)
Make sure your defined port is actually what your using in RR
Good luck.

Thought I would share some results..
My antenna appears to be just fine (even if my car IS a "dinosaur" :-p )
With my computer OFF, the tuner gets HD in no time, holds the signal, as well as tunes to more stations than before.
As soon as I turn on the PC, BAM, signal dies.
I unhooked my screen, and same result.... so it must be the PC.
I'm not sure what to do besides relocate the PC itself considering it is mounted up under the passenger dash right where the antenna lead comes in.
So just FYI... anyone having reception issues should try that test and take the PC into consideration... it does make a difference!
EDIT: By the way... when I was testing, I simply looked at the controller screen... I didn't re-wire audio so I could hear the difference. The time to lock onto the HD signal as well as the signal strength shown on the controller screen was proof enough.

appears you're having the same issues i am. I wish i knew what i could cover the pc with to prevent the interference from happening!

I'm having a similar situation like UM_Fan. I tested the Visteon HD Radio with Mitch application, it works fine. Then I start RR with BMV2 skin, when I click on the Radio button it delays like 5 seconds and then it sounds the inside relay 2 times separated by 1 seconds. Looks like it turns on and then off by itself. I ran the batch file runme1st.cmd and it completed successfully. I have .NET installed.
My rr.ini is as follows:
[Radio]
radiomode=8
allowallfreqs=false
radioline=8
userbds=false
[Extra's]
HDRadioport=9
By the way I have to use a USB to serial converter (its on com9) because Mitch app did not wanted to work with the radio using built in serial com1 port.

Updated DLL V1.1.0.1 built on 12/26/2007
(not really)
but everyone switch to this...
just unzip to hdradio directory in RR directory
and for kicks re run "runme1st.cmd"
* changed Signal Strength Event (only events if signal change)
* changed the rate of the signal strength polling

Mitch,
You are THE MAN!!
It works perfect with the update you made. Now it works with my built in serial port and with the USB-->serial converter as well. I also tested with BMV2 and Digital FX2.5 skins, both good.
Thank you for your great support.

Hey Mitch,
I hope this isn't too far off topic...
This statement on your web page, "Includes FREE Software.
Controll Class available for FREE for Devlopers..." Does this mean that API messages (or .net? or ???) are available to be used by other programs? I am building my own sort of "front end" on a program I use at work called LabView. I have been able to talk to Google Earth and a Garmon GPS receiver so far as well as perform various Windows commands from LabView. I would like to be able to do my own programming with your cable and my Visteon Zoom.
I've downloaded your software to try and tinker, but it doesn't do much yet because I don't have a radio hooked to it.
Where can I find the afore mentioned "control class?"
Thanks...
Mark
