Maybe this is for another thread but i really dont understand what the list is for on the radio skin. Are the presets shown there or is it subchannels for the currently playing channel?

OK I am having some problems getting this tuner to work.
I have it all hooked up now. But I cant get it to work in road runner. Works great with the PCR software..
What are the required setting for this.

Got my tuner today at work, so excited!
Was very impressed with this kit for 67 bux came with everything I need to hook it up including about 10 feet of every wire. I have audio running through my line in on my desktop. I just fired it up and am messing around with the included faceplate. Sound quality is amazing, esp. when it switches to HD mode, it sounds better then the OEM radio tuner in my car. I am going to integrate it tomorrow sometime. I installed the HD RADIO PCR application from mitch's site and both your cable and app work perfect!
I am hoping to have my RR skin done and have this installed by the weekend

I just received my cable and within a total of 2 mins. it was playing HD radio on my test bench. Great job on the cable and the software package.
blk02si : Thanks for the heads up on the ebay for the Visteon.

Wow, I didn't know you're not even into the carpc scene (completely)! Thanks for your work, Mitch! I can tell a lot of people really appreciate your work and I'm sure I will too...I can't wait to hear the HD difference (just ordered my cable and XM PCR TOSLINK connector a couple days ago and will be moving to FL in month where I'll be able to tune into a HD channel).

LOL! Seriously?
That's too funny.
I haven't had the time to install and run the hdradio interface yet as I'm redoing my installation and trying to figure out my antenna problems, but I can't wait integrated HD radio to my carPC.
In any case, thank you so much for taking the time out to do this project. I hope that this is the solution for my radio, or lack thereof, problems.
Kudos to you!

what antenna problems are you referring to. I'm thinkin about adding an aftermarket antenna to my car because the one thats built in stock is terrible. Its one of those In-glass antennas and the only time i get channels in HD is if i'm sittin still.

I have the in-glass antennas.
The reception is horrid w/ any aftermarket HU even w/ a powered antenna adaptor.
Put the OEM HU back in and I get all radio stations. Even putting the HD radio b/w the OEM HU and antenna will result in crappy radio reception.
The only way I can get HD channels is if I was standing still AND touching the HD radio box.
I actually just bought a powered aftermarket antenna yesterday and was going to see if that made a difference. Going to do a pre-lim install today after work.
