So how is the testing going? Also how exactly does this device work? What is the point of the USB sections of it? Will this work with CF or is David (Flux Media) going to have to change CF to use this device? Like when to send a signal to the USB part to switch it (Im guessing thats what the USB part does). If that is how it works, how come you didnt just create a device that senses a signal and switches according to that? The A/V switch I bought works that way, so say i have my PS2 on and then turn on my Xbox, it will switch to the Xbox, then when i turn it off it goes back to the PS2, it basically switches to the most last active signal. Isnt that easier then having to make the PC change it through USB?

i received the device today and have done some testing. First i must say mitch did an AMAZING job with this thing. its just what i needed. Its tiny (about the size of a pack of gum... can easily be made to fit in an external sound card case. And its simple. You plug in the usb to the computer for control, plug in your devices to one of the 4 line ports, connect the back port to your sound cards line-in. A few RR.ini settings later, i have XM and HD radio connected to a single line-in on the computer, all being controlled by the device drivers and RR. Mitch has also created a small application which you can manually control the lines with. I'm honestly glad it works the way it does without the signal sensing. Its seamless once you have it installed correctly.. i'm gonna try my luck with it and search for bugs, but so far my search for the perfect external sound card is complete. Live usb + this device all in a single box working great.

Sonic: Glad to hear! I'm def looking forward to this board.

Hijack: In the case of the outputs on the hd and xm, they are always on. They arent switching on/off. so it would be sensing two signals and boucing all over the place (i assume). i think the usb switching is the better alternative.

See thats where I was lost..... i could have sworn the HD radio powers down when not in use. Maybe RR handles HD radio diffrent then CF. From my understanding when the unit clicks when I go to HD, thats the unit turning on. When i leave HD radio I hear it click again, meaning its off. I think only the XM stays on all the time. Well I hope mitch provides what ever code so that it can be done to CF.

mitch changed HD radio so it powers on with RR is powered. CF must not have changed (yet)

Been testing USB audio selector for about a week... Works great! Seamless in RR now. I am using external Turtle Beach SRM input... no problems at all. No noise. Swaps back and forth betwen XM & HD instantly. XM and HD always powered on, just hardware mutes when using a different source... so no waiting at all for them to come back on. Just like car audio should be. Funny at how hard we work to get what we had to start with... original HU...

Latest RR build fixes XM favorite navigation too!

I got my visteon last night and wow... Sweet HD radio. I just bench tested it with minimal reception, but enough to get a few HD signals. I didn't get to test with Roadrunner, just with Mitch's software. Thanks Mitch! Awesome product. I've still got a long ways to go with my car, but this is an awesome step!
