Hello all ,
If you have the capability to Program a chip and make the above cuircut then this is free for you.
Shall post two hex file MASTER and SLAVE and PCB file
Master goes in the Aircon unit (u can use the existing chip just erase and reprogram)
Slave goes in the above cuircuit.
Pin 1 of slave goes to pin 16 of master thats all there is for connection...
Let me know if anyone wants..

Just stumbled across this project so forgive dumb questions...
Any reason why I should not use a R/C electronic speed controller to determine fan speed instead of a servo actuating the original controls?
This would in theory allow for finer control of blower speeds in auto mode, and more choice around selecting the three manual speeds.

sweet, looks like i wont need to buy anything then as i can just re-program the chip.
When will those hex files be up?

Nothing is free ! U will have to buy the parts and make the addon curcuit...

Send 70A for relay 1 0N. Then 70A again for relay1 OFF from your PC.
7 tells the master this msg is for the slave 0 for slave to know which channel to open and A or any non numeric chr saying thats it work done.
ATTN: ONLY ERASE THE 16F628A CHIP.

so it works like climate control as well as normal? great, thats even more space saved on the dash by having a carpc.

New features:~
Four speed for fan.
Nine extra on/off connection controlled via PC.
Two temp sensor, External temp sensor for displaying external atmosphere temp displayed on LED display with a press of button. (PC and remote).
Easy programable remote control... ANY compatible remote will work.
LED display goes dim when internal ilumination of vehical is on.
Compressor cuts off when the temp reaches one deg less than set cutoff temp, and goes on when temp reaches one degree more than set temp.
All this Plus all the features of ver 1
Any more requests?

Hmm wat to say !
I was not planing to upgrade ... as you know i had to reprogram the chips as i had a hard disk crash and lost all data.. so why not just upgrade it

no worries, this unit is probably only temporary for me anyway, I'm discussing building my own climate control, but with a full stand alone 3.5" touchscreen interface for controls, & also control through the pc screen as a plugin for roadrunner, but until I get this developed yours will help the transition nicely, & who know how long it'll take for me to complete mine....
will aircond 2 be available as an upgrade, like buy a new microcontroller & add on board from you, or is it rebuilt from the ground up?

Its not an upgrade ... its fully built ground up. as for cost its only 98% complete so not priced it yet...
