Order !!
Hi there W3bMa5t3r !
Been trying to contact you for the last 2 weeks but it seems you do not receive the queries in your webstore fill-out form !
Also, the store always send me errors and I cannot process order altough I noticed you are currently working on it so that's probably why....
Please let me know how I can order your startup module and get it ASAP. I am located in Canada and I am ready to order right away...
thx !

does this just go in parallel with the relay but in opposite polarity? could you add this to the diagram or explain exactly where and how to add it to the circuit... thanks!

just make one. that's what i did. the hardest part was soldering the leads inside my laptop, and his kit won't make that any easier. the components themselves from radio shack are easy to find and easy to solder. it was like $10 or something cheap like that.

I saw that his last post was back in 08, and his last visit to mp3car was in May. He disappears every once in a while.

freakin XOBYTE's store is not even open to purchase online, nor are they responding to my correspondence. Looks like another dead end. Just want to get to the point that the webmasters device did without using a magic packet.

Does anyone know the status of either or these products?
This laptop auto on/off would work great for what I used it for. At the moment I need to flip a switch each time to power on.

w3bmast3r's device will only simulate a momentary button press. it won't work like a toggle switch. if you need something that works more like a light switch and not a pushbutton, then you just need a plain relay.
as i said a few posts up, just make one. it's cheap and easy using parts from radio shack.
