will try my best to include it . Can't promise but I want to have that feature too. The plan is to make it like a bookmark. So you can add the current location to the bookmark also in the setting window a button to add fav from search .

This happened when the car was at a stand still. Another thing to note if you are trying to recreat this bug is that in the MediaCar setup under the GPS tab you must provide a path to your application, make sure that the "run embedded" checkbox is checked and make sure the "additional search string" has the value *GPSdlt* <--what ever the name of the application is (the name the appears in the taskmanager). The search string allows MediaCar to find the correct application and embed it into MediaCar.

When it is propperly embedded you will see a "close" button and another button on the top right hand corner. The close button is where i am having the problem. This button actually terminates the application. The other button allows the application to run in the background while bringing you back to the MediaCar interface.

This embedding is really handy and I appriciate you looking into it. And thanks for looking into the tap and hold support. This will make it even easier to do searches.

Have a good Weekend,

Hiya, I've been testing some more through replaying routes to it, I've found that if you re-calculate the route when on a motorway, for some reason (I've tried this about 5 times) it tries to re-route me on 'local roads' - i.e. ones thats aren't on the motorway but next to it that I physically can't get to bar driving off the side of the motorway. Is this a bug with mappoint or this?

@SilentAdmirer: I tested your software and i am inspired - it is really well... more than that!
But I have there a small desire: The position arrow is very small - can i make that larger? Or is it possible to be used drawn of pointer (as in Mediacar)?

Best Regards
Oliver

If you are referring to the location icons, I have already requested that this be changed to a larger more noticeable icon. I think SilentAdmirer is already working on that.

I am inspired to

Cheers

@F4kk3r0 All the the application, dlls and the ini file should be in one directory and there should be a sub directory named skin where the skin should be present.

@cwho122 Not as of now but will in the future.

To all trying to run the application in MediaCar as embedded Application . There seems to be some in the navigation application . Please run it in non embeded mode till I can find a solution.

The main problem is how your little application handles the close event from mediacar. The screen is a little distorted aswell becasue of the top navigation bar but i assume that it can taken care of with the skining.

One thig that i noticed is that when When I input a destination address and my current GPS location is fairly (less than .5 mile) that in the directions it skips the first step.

For instance:

If I should make a left to get get on the free way and then take a right to exit and i am really close the the left turn to get on the free way, then it will skip the left and tell me to "make a right in x miles"

Has anyone else noticed this? Is this a Mappoint Problem?
