This project is closed to Beta testers only at the moment.
Leddy, I've been doing some extensive testing and will be uploading my notes next week for you

Man... is this thing going to be a perpetual closed-beta like GPS Secure? I really want to get one of these things working!
Edit: My bad, I just checked and there was the first public release of GPS Secure yesterday. Your falling behind WheresMyGPS .

Considering that GPS Secure has been around for like a year, it's not really a comparison. Having beta tested them both, I'm very surprised with how far WhereIsMyGPS has come in such a short time.
The features have kept up with the requests here in the forums from the Beta testers and the software has a solid platform to grow on now.
Keep up the great work!

If I wanted to upload a log from my desktop client, what format do I need to use?
OBTW, a small nit to pick with the desktop client: the "Logout" button only appears on the HOME page. It would be nice to have it on all pages for a quick getaway.

A couple of 2cc:
- Maybe the ability to provide buddies. E.g. you could create family groups / friend groups. This means that if you have 2 cars in the family you can give others the ability to view logs. This would help in scenarios where other mp3car.com users want to track other users.
- Bumper stickers reading: GPS tracked, Police aware, my speed is recorded!
- Ability to replay data through your carpc, e.g. you get pulled over and you have a chance to tell the cop that you really were not speeding. Although, how often do people really get pulled over for speeding when they actually were not?

How about "pull-over mode" where it automatically creates a fake GPS log based on your real one but with time-stamps extended so it "proves" you wern't speeding. LOL.

Is this thing ever going to go public? ...or can I get in on the next beta?
I would like to compare this solution to GPS Secure. Can anyone report on the pros/cons between them?
