Unfortunately life happens

This has not allowed me as much time as I would like to work on this project.

However version 2.01.00 is available for download. Please see the "Updates" thread for what's changed.

Any chance of you operning up to new users ? What about an SDK to let the like of Mapmonkey / Freedrive to work with your app ?

There is about to be released by Tmobile UK a 1Gb / 2Gb data package for £7.50 per month therefore I can see services like this been in high demand... its certainly why I am looking.... may be some one could even do a PPC version too.

I've been having problems ever since I updated the software. I get an error after my gps data is sent. It says “invalid log key”. Also is there anyway to get rid of the socket errors? My internet connection is not the best and sometimes it has to reconnect. When the program tries to send data during this time I get an annoying error that beeps at me. I'll put up a pic of the error later today if thats helpful.
Thanks

It's still for beta testers only.

Question Am I in the right place?

I'm working on putting together a small package system that will report gps coordinates to a hand held device and display the position on a map. I don't necessarily want to re-invent the wheel so I did some research and *Bam* I get this fourm. Am I in the right area here ... or should I search further?

... BTW, if I am in the right area, how do I become a beta tester. For whatever its worth, I map for a living and maybe I could help out in some way.

Thanx

PM Leddy and he may or may not let you on the beta-program. You can also check out GPS-Secure: http://www.mp3car.com/vbulletin/forumdisplay.php?f=102

...and possibly GooPs: http://sites.onlinenw.com/goops/goops.php

Leddy, I download and installed the new version. It's communicating and uploading fine.. How does someone "watch" where I'm going though?

EDIT - Nevermind.. I think I figured out a workaround.. I just clicked on someone's name and then changed the url to match my username:

http://www.whereismygps.net/track.php?user=tbird2340

Do you think you can increase the increment of updates to like 1 or 2 seconds so theres not such a huge jump / gap in playback?

Wasnt sure how to send a picture in a PM. Also wondering if there is a way to change to location of where the bix starts to have it be centered. Everytime it starts its always in the bottom right part of my screen and I have to pull it up. Thanks.
