I really want to "test". I'm going on a 2500km roadtrip from Toronto, Canada to northern quebec in two weeks today and would love to have this while I go.

I'll be leaving for a 2/3 loop of the US (CT->OH->IA->CO->KS->MO->FL->VA->CT) next month and am looking for a GPS utility that will display my current location on a Google Map (for friends and family to see where I am). I have 2 Garmin GPS units (GPS18 & eTrex Legend) connected to an IBM laptop with Cingular wireless Internet access.
Besides the two GPS applications (nRoute and possibly WhereIsMyGPS) the laptop will also be running an OBDII interface tool and a webcam utility that uploads a small captured image from a dashcam every 60 seconds.
I've been experimenting with Google Earth Plus and a networked KML file but it just seems to suck up too much bandwidth.
I would be interested in testing WhereIsMyGPS.

I'd be interested in testing. Don't have my carputer setup yet, but would be tethering through my EVDO PPC6700.

Leddy,
Nice bit of software you put together. I have been using it a lot over the last couple weeks and have shown it to a couple commercial customers to see if they are interested in this sort of stuff.
What are your plans for this app? Is there any chance you can add a feature that would allow you to review the history of where the vehicle's been not just the current location?
