FAT16 FIle creation problem

Hi all,

I am trying to crate a file in USB memory stick which is having FAT16 file system.

I am facing problems in creating file, when I increase the file name length.

If file name length is 24 bytes file creation is successful. If I cross this i.e25 ..26 bytes file creation fails.

Please let me know where am i going wrong. what are the limitations of FAT16 regarding file name.

FAT16 file system has name limitations upto 24 characters.....You cannot name a file more than 24 characters.....
