The link you posted above is dead, can you send it me so i can see what your dealing with please?
With regard to my skin....i'd hardly call it a skin really, its an 800x600 background with the MyMobiler window opened out to allow you to see all the screen instead of the 240x320 portion the standard skin allows and then in my RR skin i just clipped out the area i wanted MM to fill and thats it.
There aren't any hardware buttons assigned in MM, its possible i'll find later that i need hardware buttons for volume and stuff but i've not got to that yet.
So what is it you want in a skin and how big is the embedded app area in CF?
so essentually what you want me to do is:
1. Monitoer incomming call
2. if call detected bring up the skin of the phone or any other app
3. when call is over close skin (if your phone send t that command) and if not just assime manual screen termination or give it avarage convo time to be on top of everyting
I habvent ben doint RR for almost a yera but should be easy task to complte
I was thinking of a dialogue box or 2 to handle the "on event" commands so thats its not restricted to RR, i know of a few people using other frontends that would just love this.
well i can do on event thing, but how u wnat me to output it is we dont use RR? u wnat me to launch any external program instead? So say u have phone call and we open MS Word (if u spesified path to MS Word ofcause) and wehen phone call is out we close externall app?
PS: u should consider urself lucky as i just finish one big project so i got some extra time to play around w. cars =)
The skin I was refering to has hardware buttons and Touch HD bezel that gets in the way for correct sizing (see attached).
Anyway, I did a quick mix and match to get Touch HD properly sized with original MyMobiler buttons (I know nuts about graphics design and xml ). It will be great if someone can pick up the idea and improve on the graphics, add more control id buttons (if available), add buttons for MyMobiler shortcut keys (see attached) or even a real CF MyMobiler skin with phone control buttons at the bottom much like Simplistique or slashdot for RR.
Btw, do RR open up another instance of MyMobiler or reuse the one that is already on the taskbar? CF opens up another instance or more which sometimes make MyMobiler goes wacko. I've yet to find a solution for that.
I've also yet to explore which rom has newer TouchFLO 3D that can do landscape. Which version of TouchFLO 3D supports it?
if your phone program is a part of RR skin then i can use send key to open that skin, for examle open the skin that Carz showerd when you have incommimg call

This is the command from the button that gets me where i need to go = LOAD;freefone.skin;MyMobiler;C:\Program Files\MyMobiler\MyMobiler.EXE;My Mobiler& i guess thats more sendmessage than sendkey isn't it?
I'm not sure how your bluetooth caller id works really, is it a RR plugin or is it standalone or both?
the code u showwed is a button.,, but i got the point, if i finish my work by tonight i will do soft for u
my app is standalone app... (i hae doing native plugins as they take more time to work w/)
haha i RR has greater potential for customization then CF, however CF is more stable... so if u look at # of posts i definitely do more work for RR =))))
But my car has CF inside
I only just made an effort to read the MyMobiler Skin Format I downloaded ages ago.
I'm not sure if it's possible to make real skin CF MyMobiler skin but at least within MyMobiler skin itself, quite a lot of buttons can be skinned and added.
Apparently, the "mobile commands" available are home, back, talk, end, soft1 (left soft key), soft2 (right soft key). Not sure if there are any more unlisted built in mobile commands
"Mobile run" commands are possible for any application shortcut or exe.
Wonder what or where are the volume up/down, screen off, reset and speaker phone mobile commands, shortcuts or exes.
@tempgp, I'm stuck with CF 'cos of the lack of Infill G4 Radio Plugin/support for other front ends.
