I have no skills with Photo-Shop and was wondering if someone might be able to help me by making a boot screen.
It is for a Subaru impreza WRX
it would read
Subaru Logo
"WRX"
(In big metal looking letters)
"In-Car Entertainment System"
(smaller letters,different font)
Loading

Thanks to everyone who has already posted great boot screens, and thanks to anyone who can help me out.
P.S. I know this thread is to be used only for posting boot screens but i thought if some one was able to make one for me, surely my post can be edited and the boot screen posted in its place

I'm using BootXP v. 2.5 and it's very easy.. anyone can do it. Just make a quick photoshop graphic, open BootXP, and the program converts everything for you. It automatically places a progress bar on the screen, but I'm sure you can move it where you would like it. My new CarPC now boots to a Lexus logo with a matching silver progress bar underneath it.

I tried all that already and even though the "Windows loading" screen is gone and is replaced by some wallpaper of mine, I STILL get the "Windows Hybernating" screen when shutting off...

Yup, all other "status messages" are gone, so I know the posted instructions work.... That's why I asked about the "Hybernating" screen only..
Seriously... It's the only thing with a huge "Windows" logo on my PC right now and I'm trying to battle it out...

Anyone got a boot screen for a Freightliner or Peterbilt?
Maybe International or Kenworth?
I am putting a carputer in my Freightliner with CoPilot Truck edition GPS, XM Radio and a cellular based Internet connection. Hopefully I will be able to get it installed soon. Waiting on the DC-DC power supply.
Where can I get the BootXP program?

I try to think I have skills in photoshop & fireworks, but I have searched and can find nothing on the size these are supposed to be. Another thing that I can not find is the ratio for different size screens/touchscreens. I seen someone posted that a 7" should have an aspect ratio of 1.7 but how do I find this?
What is the pixel size supposed to be for the final image and what file extension is supposed to be used, and what type of file is it really going to be exported as?

Since I have the lilliput with native : 800x480 but I have 800x600 going to it, everything is squished vertically.
I have thought.. make a screen the way you want it to look in 800x480, then when it's done, change the image size to 800x600 without constrained proportions. This will enolgate the image vertically, and hopefully look perfect in a 800x480 display.
I think ?
