Ok i played with this build over the weekend and so far so good...i currently have all this workin:

***INSTALL NOTES***
-Required for WMP10[Regular Full Install] on this build-
You need to install wmploc.dll to your sys32 directory. You can find this file HERE. Then download and install WMP10. Download it HERE

-Required for Light Non-standard WMP-
This package can install the Windows Media codecs. A second feature is that it can give you the ability to play Windows Media in your browser without the need to install Windows Media Player. Download itHERE

-QuickTime Alternative-
QuickTime Alternative will allow you to play QuickTime files without having to install the official QuickTime player

This revised edition of TinyXP combines the small size of
older versions, but with almost all of the functionality
of later versions. This is primarily a fast gaming OS

There are no Microsoft games in this edition.

There are no third party programs included in
this edition. You are however still able to open
zip files, they will have a normal yellow folder
but with a zip.

There are no languages left apart from US English.

The keyboard layout is United Kingdom, system locale and
timezone are also set for the UK. This can be changed in
Regional and Language Options in Control Panel - all
"keyboard layouts" are left in.

There are no networking command line tools - this increases
security dramatically and stops businesses from using
TinyXP for their networking. If you're running a business
then hey - BUY WINDOWS XP. I have no sympathy with you
people.

It is important to note that TinyXP started out as a
gaming OS that you can surf the net with, and use most
programs with it. It ended up revised to the point that
you might as well use normal XP. This however was always
because it fully supported networking when it didn't need
to for the purpose it was meant for - home use.

In this edition, netstat.exe and other command line
networking tools and a few more networking type features
are now removed, TinyXP is back again to a very small
footprint (365Mb), a very fast install (7 minutes) and
uses far less RAM than Rev03 did - about 20Mb less.

This edition has Internet Explorer included, (not just
the core but the whole explorer). It also includes the
DHCP service, Wireless LAN drivers and is still compatible
with "Microsoft Office" and supports printers, joysticks,
firewire etc.

HINT: If you are in any doubt about the functionality
of TinyXP Rev04 - get hold of a program called "VMware"
and install TinyXP into VMware - this only takes about
as long as an install on your real PC would.

Then install "VMware tools" in VMware and drag whichever
programs into VMware you need to install them and give
the operating system a complete test before you actually
use it.

This edition DOES NOT work with "Sisoft Sandra".

Sisoft Sandra seems to rely on a lot of Windows components,
it was not worth the extra RAM and hard drive space needed,
just to support Sisoft Sandra.

This ISO is designed to be the ULTIMATE TinyXP, being
very small and VERY fast, whilst still giving you the
full functionality (almost) of normal XP - but without
as many networking features.

This edition does include "Active Directory" and basic
networking between two PC's will work fine, as long as
you enable "Simple File Sharing" under "Folder Options"
in "Control Panel". This "Simple File Sharing" is
disabled in this edition, so you can access the
"Security" tab on your file and folder properties.

i tried it and installed frodoplayer
but it didn't work because it could'nt connect to database
it has something to do with MBAC, that is missing

i would also like to now if its possible to hibernate in versions of tinyxp
anyone??

Well I just tried it with RR. It works, although I had heaps of problems trying to install drivers. Even got a BSOD. Touch screen wan't detected )might be due to driver problems) and there IS NO HIBERNATION. This is a deal killer for me. I was hoping to see real fast resuming.....Oh well.

I'm using this and I'm able to use hibernation...just needed to update my video drivers like always.

the last version of his I installed, wireless didnt work...kind of an important thing...hopefully that is fixed
