Unfortunately when the system powers on (reset or resume from hibernation) there is a 10% chance that this device won't turn on until removed and replaced. I am looking for recommendations to replace it with something similar that is more reliable. Suggestions ?
I have an engenius 200mW USB adapter that is pretty good... There is a more powerful one called "alfa 500mW usb" (which can be found on ebay) which uses a realtek chipset so it works in Linux.. Also more than double the transmit power.
