Sorry for spamming this thread. But I have one more little teething problem.

When my CarLaptop now tries to standby, the Widcomm software is bringing up a message saying Bluetooth Headset is connected, click OK to disconnect? Is there a way to suppress this message and just standby automatically? If I hit OK, then it disconnects the audio gateway and on resume from suspend it does no connect automatically.

Thanks Injector. How does a targus adapter manage to get around that problem?

PS - I was having a play with the Laptop back in my car and it seems to stop the gateway connection and standby automatically (probably when I get out of the car and the phone goes out of range). So now I just need something to reconnect the gateway service when the phone comes back in range. I think there was a utility floating around for that so I will try that.

Interesting you say that tracker64, but that is not the reason it works. It seems if standy in initiated by the lid switch it ignores the message box, if its via the power button or the suspend command in windows it wont budge until message box is clicked.

But anyway since I have moved to the widcomm stack I now have another problem. So during suspend/hibernate the USB ports (and hence the bluetooth dongle) are suspended/closed and it seems Widcomm does not reinitialise the dongle fast enough before Centrafuse starts, so Centrafuse errors and exists almost everytime I resume. This didn't happen with the Blue Soliel stack so it must be the extra time Widcomm needs to enable the bluetooth stick that is causing the problem. Any ideas as to how to fix this?

I've been using the Widcomm stack with a trendnet USB dongle, so I've been using the headset/hands-free profile for a while
My problem is that the audio is too low. My amp gain is maxed, the volume controls are maxed on the PC and the phone, but its still pretty quiet. OK if I'm stationary, but barely audible over normal engine whine. Anyone have a solution to this? Would a new bluetooth dongle even fix this?

i bought a belkin bluetooth stick and tried the widcom driver 4.1. but the belkin stick doesn't work on the 4.1 driver. hardware manager says: no driver found!!
only works with the 5.1 driver which was included. but the 5.1 driver disconnects my phone making a call. any ideas?
