Hi, I wanted to use my sony ericsson 790A or known as it's other name in europe 810i as a windows modem so I can use a regular dial up internet like Juno.

I found that in windows under modems, there were 3 ericsson entries. a fax, and two modems on two different ports. I queried them and found out one of them works. However,.................

the phone dials when I try to log onto Juno, but then it immediately tries the next juno access number like it never even tried to connect. it goes extremely fast through all the number and says it can't connect. why does my phone not act like a modem? i checked all the phone settings I could, and then I double checked and made sure windows had the device working properly and like i said, it queries and shows results.. (though it showed a lot of data and on some lines it said, (not supported).

at first I thought maybe t-mobile is being fags and somehow keep the phone from acting like a dial up modem but this phone I bought came from the middle east so everything should be unlocked...


am I missing a step somewhere to with windows or with my phone?
