Connecting phone to pc with bluetooth?

Okay... this site seems to have FAQs for everything, except for what I am looking for. I've searched high and low on this site, and other cell phone sites and haven't really found anything. So here's the deal:

I have my bluetooth dongle, attached to my laptop. I'm using BlueSolis (sp?) for drivers. Now what I want to do is set up my phone (Treo 755p) to be integrated into the CarPC (eventually, either through Centrafuse - which PhoneControl.NET doesn't seem to support the 755 - or via another service).

Before I even get to that, I am having trouble connecting the phone to the computer. From what I've read, I either have to go through Dial Up Networking or through the headset service. It seems DUN is for using your phone as a network connection, which I am not trying to do. The headset service doesn't seem to be working either.

Can someone point me in the right direction?

Are you just looking to use it as handsfree car kit? or for internet access ?

Something like phonecontrol.net

(after match 08) would use a COM port to communicate with the phone (making calls, read txt messages, display incoming caller id on screen etc) and the headset/audio gateway would then transfer all the sound to the computer.

If a phone is not supported fully, sometimes picking a model simialr (maybe even next/few models down) as long as they use the same software (symbian. WM etc) one of them will generally work ok. I use a Nokia n75 setting with my Nokia 95 and it works fine...
