A bluetooth adapter for the PC.
USB bluetooth adapters are relatively cheap and widely available.

the OP's question goes much deeper than just buy an adapter. I only say this because im attempting to figure out what I need to do as well. Ive been searching and reading all sorts of threads but still havent come across anything that spells out how to configure the device with RR nor a dialer.
I have an adapter installed and it knows my phone (razr) but when I go to the RR config app and select phone it wants Phonecontrol exe location etc. but its my understanding that phoco is no longer available. When i select the bluetooth settings I get a blank screen and nothing happens. When I went to the dialer page of the basic RR it never found the phone.
Any chance someone can take a few min and spell out the basics? I dont mind doing the rest of the leg work but im a bid lost at the moment as well.

Has anyone found a good bluetooth solution that can be used in the carputer without hacking any drivers?

I have not set mine up yet but I think you want to look into FreePhone for Road Runner. At least that is what I got out of some of the readings I found so far. Its under the software forum

Heya rock99rock
I've got bluetooth working not going to say it's great the audio quality is decent at best (gonna try another mic) but I had to use the WIDCOMM bluetooth drivers to make it work. I've got bluetooth working with FreePhone and RR as well as StreetDeck.
With the windows bluetooth drivers there is no option to use your phone as an audio gateway which you will need.

so would the process call for uninstalling the drivers that the BT adapter came with and use the WIDCOMM drivers and just browse to them when given the chance? My phone can get me on the internet in the car but im stumped on the phone config. Im using this small little Kensington dooie, that uses Toshiba drivers the best I can tell.

This post http://www.mp3car.com/vbulletin/wire...-speakers.html is a pretty good walk through of what you will have to do.
In my case it didnt work I had to use Nlite to remove the bluetooth component of XP SP2 after doing so I was able to load the driver with no issue.

Hmmm not sure on that one but some phones do not allow for multiple bluetooth connections ( I love SonyEricsson sweet for bluetooth) you need audio gateway and serial over bluetooth to get your phone work work hands free.
Serial over bluetooth com port# is the one you need to input in the setting.ini for freefone.
