Verizon USB720

I'm picked up a USB720 from Verizon and really like the device, but is there a way for it to startup 'quietly'? I'm using the utilities that come with the device.
thanks,

Im using Sprint and use the steps as described by Sonic..... Just log onto the internet so you see the dialing screen and simply check mark, auto dial or something along those lines. When you install the Sprint software, it automatically adds all the dialing properties to IE, and I think most programs use IE setup. You just have to check auto dial.
