N800 -> Laptop, Wlan adhoc Remote Desktop

Hi, and sorry about the "bad" title.

I'm using Dell D600 as a carpc, and Nokia N800 as a touchscreen. Everything else seems to be okay, but I'm not able to get wireless Wlan connection to work between these two devices. I need to get wlan connection between these devices because I want to operate carpc with remote desktop, without cables.

I'm creating adhoc wlan connection with Dell D600. I'm giving right IP settings. After that I'm connecting to that adhoc with my Nokia N800. I configurate wlan to work, and put the right IP settings. Voila!
Connection is created.
I'm making remote desktop connection from Nokia N800 to Dell D600. If it goes well, remote desktop works and I can operate the carpc. Problem is with the adhoc connection, it can't be set as automatic connection. So everytime I want to make wlan adhoc connection between the devices. I have to manually start adhoc connection from the Dell D600, and after that I can connect with my N800. Is there any way to get adhoc connection connecting automatically?

If that's not possibly, is there a way to get laptop work as Wlan access point, or way to connect real wlan access point to car?

Hopefully someone understand what I'm saying..

Hmm.. I better forget that N800 and wlan remote desktop use. I can't play videos fluently, wlan speed seems to be too slow to stream videos. Now I got to find touchscreen, something between 5 - 6 inch.
Any recommendations. I found a lot of touchscreens in 7 - 8" size, but not smaller than that.

I don't thing any full video will work over vnc. It's always going to be a bit choppy.

Yep..found that out too. I'm buying cartft 7" touchscreen, so N800 isn't going to be in configuration anymore.
