Best file transfer method
I finally put a wifi adapter in my car, and i have an access point in my apt. The signal didn't reach my car, so i put another AP running as a repeater in my window sill. I get a great signal to at my car, and a decent connection between the two access points. When i get on the web in my car its pretty fast. About the same as on the wired network inside. The problem i'm having is that the some packets aren't going through, and using Windows File Share and a program called Directory Compare to transfer files, causes some errors. I will download a few songs from a computer on my network and get a message about the network resource not being available. When i browse the network share on my own, it works well.
Is there a better transfer method that keeps attempting to download if something drops? Would FTP be a better way to go? If so, what client would be good for this? Is it possible to download new files and skip existing??
