Common Wifi Places?

I dont have my TruckPC in yet however today i was 2 hours away from my home on my way back from a wedding, I had some minimester homework I had to have done by the time I got home. Lucky for me I had my laptop however I pulled up to a Starbucks and they didn't have a wifi signal, I always thought they had a wifi signal.

What are common places yall pull up for wifi signals? I ended up getting a signal from a really sketchy hotel in the area
