Verizon Wireless also allows the same speeds that EDGE is promising, for the same price, about $79 a month. You can either get the sierra card or you can buy the "Mobile Office Kit" (~$70) and connect straight to your laptop/carputer via USB. Mobile office kits are available for just about all of Verizon's phones.

I've been waiting for their unlimited rate to go down for months No such luck yet...

With verizon. If you are in the san diego or washington dc area they currently have wireless broadband avalible for $79 a month for unlimited access. The speeds are between 300-500kbs and they say that it's supposed to be availible nation wide in the U.S. this summer.
