Bluetooth connection using LG 325

YES its TRUE....when SPRINT disconnects your phone(for lack of payment) they apparently only disable those features that CHARGE $$ to your bill!! I have been disconnected for over a month now...but my #777 is working fine!!
I have been using this service for 2 years, like at least 8 hours a day, and have even TOLD the provider I am doing it....they cant tell....whoever says there is a penalty....WORKS FOR SPRINT AND IS LYING!!! they hate to have thier data stream tied up....but thier back end sofware is not aware of this feature....(if you ERASE your password in the dialup screen) I have used a N400-and a A620...speeds up to 100kbps(until you try downloading)....the first second of data bursts at high speed...for simple browsing this is great...but if your connection is a download....the KBPS slows by the second....down to about 10kbps...anyone who needs data in thier car.....just add a phone to your plan(or clone one of your own lines) and DATA AWAY FOR FREE!!!

I am kinda the UNOFFICIAL spokesperson for this feature (over 100 of my friends abuse this service for free)hahaha....
I travel the country in a rv....glasscrafting at festivals....and this servise works great on the move....ANYWHERE you get a signal...the data is FAST!!

DO NOT USE ANY OTHER SERVICE PROVIDER THE DATA FEES ARE OUTRAGEOUS!!!
AND UNDOUBTABLY IT STOPS WORKING WHEN THE PHONE GOES DEAD!!

***I would like to know the steps to connect to the internet using the bluetooth ability of the LG 325??? Please correct me if I am wrong, but I think that I can buy an adapter for bluetooth ability to plug into my USB port on my laptop. So I would not have to buy a cable. Right? So then what do I actually do to get the connection? I do have a Vision plan.
If someone could please help????

Thats it, just dont abuse it as it is against the user agreement.

Actually, I called sprint a long time ago. They said they don't care and have nothing they can do to stop you since it's nothing more than using Wireless Web for a long time.

The user/pass for that is: web/web.

I've been using this for like 4 years with my laptop.

I'm trying to connect my Sanyo MM 7400.

I have the drivers for it I think. But when I try to install a modem manually, it asks what port and there are none to choose.

Should I download PCS connection manager if so, which one? anyon have a link?

thanks.

You can try the manager. I don't have the link, but I saved the software a long time ago. Click on the link below to download it. I won't guarantee this will work, but this came off of the sprint website.

Let me know how it works out.

PCS Vision

Edit: Its 19Meg, so give it a few minutes to upload

you dont need the pcs connection manager. all u need to do is dial #777 from dial up connections and run the command "ping yahoo.com -r" (or make a .bat file with just that in it) to keep the connection alive. i have been using #777 for almost 3 years whenever i need it... its faster than dialup, and if u have a good phone, its damn reliable

.... and yes it does work with a temporarily disconnected phone... i havent checked my inactive phone yet tho... i should....

It doesnt work with an inactive phone. Anyone have any ideas I can turn an inactive phone into an account that is temporarly disconnected without it ruining my credit score?

That's the exact switch I just made... I'm lovin' the LG 325.

I just tried the #777 trick from my PPC via Bluetooth... it does work. We'll see if I get hit with an extra fee.

I've used the same for some time now. I've had the PM-325 since january, and had it connected thru bluetooth since feb. I love the fact I can just keep it in my pocket and connect to the net with my carpc. I haven't seen any extra fees yet, probably never will.

For anybody's info, I've got a kensington bluetooth usb adapter, and to hook to the PM-325, you just gotta pair 'em up, discover the abilities, then set up a dialup connection. It's pretty easy. (I saw someone was asking how to do it) Something else that's nice, I get somewhere around 210k down, haven't measured the up.

Ok so the only way for you to get this is to have a current sprint account or have a disconnect account?

Well I just got my bill and had $0.71 worth of 'net access charges. I didn't use it all that much either. I can live with a few bucks a month for using it when I need... but it seems that type of access isn't included in whatever Vision plan I have.

I sometimes use my 8200 for 3-4 hours at a time 2-3 times a week for over year now and used my 8100 just as much before that and I have never gotten a charge other then the $15 for unlimited Vision.
