Bluetooth Adaptor Opinions
I need to get a BY adaptor for my PC, a USB dongle type thing. In looking into this it seems there are a lot of dfferent qualities and in particular the software with some of them may suck.
Could you please post any suggestions if you have a USB BT adaptor that you feel works well and an idea of the price paid etc?
I'll be using it mainly for a GPRS connection to my Nokia 6620 phone if that affects things.
Thanks, Chris.

I've got a Belkin F8T003, and I can't fault it.

I have the same Belkin USB dongle as Confused, bought it new on eBay for $50aud, works well with Nokia PC Suite and my 6230. I've also read in other threads this BT adapter has been tested and works well with Zorro's PhoneControl software..

I have have the F8T001 and the D-Link BT120. Both are good, but my belkin would drop a connection once in a while(twice per day maybe). My D-Link has yet to do this. If I were to buy another, it would be the D-Link for sure IMHO.

If you don't need the one with the longer distance, then I would go with the D-Link. I have the D-Link one and a Trendware one. Both of them were under 20 bucks, D-Link with a rebate at office max, the Trendware from newegg.
I use mine for my Sony-Ericsson phone, transfer files from computer to computer, copy music to a PDA, I want to get a BT GPS and keyboard for the car, but those are pretty pricey.

I'm thinking of getting a PCMCIA one maybe, the USB Dongle works fine but it's just a pain in the rear on my laptop, I think a PCMCIA card with retractable antenna may be easier as I want permanent BT on my laptop.

I think the important thing to look for right now is Class 1. But not sure. Some also say headset and mouse compatible and some don't. It's way too confusing!

I couldn't agree more. I'm looking for a headset that I want to use with my PC and phone, there's very little info about though.
