Wireless G - Wire'd Network Problems (Remote Desktop)

My Shuttle right now is running on my 27" TV at 800x600. I hate this since Im acustomed to a 22" 1600x1200 Screen. I am a graphics designer as my hobby. But I cannot do any work on a flippin TV. So I tried to do a remote desktop with one of my other pc's in another area of the house and have been unsucsessful. The other pc sees every computer on the network, but cannot access them. And the other computers on the network cannot see anything else but itself.

Network PC's:
Shuttle XPC = Linksys USB Wireless-G Adaptor
Asus PC = Linksys USB Wireless-G Adaptor
Dell PC = Linksys 10/100 PCI Adaptor wired to a Linksys Wireless Broadband Router
Gigabyte PC = Linksys 10/100 PCI Adaptor wired to the Linksys Wireless Broadband Router sharing the internet.

I have the Gigabyte pc hooked up to the INTERNET connector on the Router so all the other pc's can get internet, this pc cannot see anything else and cannot be seen. The Dell is wired to the Router and the other pc's are in diff areas hooked up to a USB adaptor. All network settings are alike, and we have set them up countless times to try and fix the problem. Nothing! Even uninstalled and installed the wireless adaptors. We all used to see each other until I pulled the gigabyte off the network, to share the internet. I dont know whats wrong, and its ****ing me off. I really dont want to pull my pc into another room just to hook it up to a monitor. Anyone know whats wrong?

You need to open up Port 3389 on your router and using NAT (Network Address Translation) point it to the computer you are trying to access on your network.

You should really do a google search on this stuff, it would greatly help.

Everything is set, I'm kick *** at networking, I had this entire network flawless working at top performance, and now I can't get anything to work. The only thing I changed was I put the Gigabyte pc which had the internet connection on it, on the INTERNET port. And all the computers hooked up to the network, get flawless internet. And the Dell pc now only sees itself and the asus pc, and it doesn't see mine. So I have came to the conclusion its a problem on mine.

Don't start by blaming the NIC's, if everything can access the internet then, to a degree, the NICs are fine.

What is doing DHCP? It sounds like you have a Router and now internet connecton sharing too. If so the both may be trying to provide DHCP, possible with different address ranges.

What IP addresses and subnet masks do the machies have? And the router..? And the two NICs that I assume are in the machine doing the sharing?

I didn't change anything. I just did the regular install the network devices in each pc, I had 2 pc's wired to the router and the other two are wireless, then one of the computers got an internet connection, so all I Did was pull that wire out of the router, and move it over to the INTERNET port. I didn't change any settings, all computers then started recieving internet. Thats it. And I'm not blaming the network adaptors, they are working fine, but it has to be a problem inside my pc somewheres. Because the dell Optiplex see's every other computer hooked up to this network, but mine, and mine see's only itself.

Where did it get it from? You make it sound like it just appeared as a late Christmas suprise!

So there is a router with all the PC's connected to it one way or another, is it running DHCP?

The Internet port on the router is connected to this mysterious internet connection, what is that, a cable modem? DSL? Fixed line?

What are the IP addresses on each of the four PCs?

What IP address does the router have from the internet?

Can all four PCs access the internet through the router?
