Update: on the trunk is perfect the antenna is very small I can pick up signals a LOOOOOONG way away.

When I first looked at the pictures here I thought the damn antenna was gonna be huge, its only like 5 inches tall.

hey TheJack, this is just an idea i've been playing with :
How about mounting the antenna in the 3rd brake light. You could use 'type 1' and skip the metal base since the roof of the car would act as base.

Please post your findings since i'll have the same car and the same options

try a mini sector antenna, or replace you radio antenna with a 2.4ghz
