And, no one here can tell you with any certainty what your range will be, and if it will work in your driveway to your house. There are MANY MANY variables involved in radio wave propogation. It will probably work with the antenna in the armrest, but, if the car is filled with people, and it is far from your home computer or router, then it may not work.
Trial and error is the only way to know.
