From the website Winc automatically detects and connects to WiFi networks and stores personalized profiles so that users can automatically connect to their favorite networks without having to reconfigure their settings each time

Doesn't support WPA though, not a big deal while driving around..... but would have to use something different at home.

I plan on using netstumbler to find and record wifi hotspots as POIs into my nav system. This Winc thing would be nice as it would auto-connect me to these POIs as I come in range. So I could see what the closest hotspot is, drive to it and the PC would auto-connect. Sweet.

Yeah WinC would be nice if you could actually find the full version to buy, but I can't get it to add to the cart on their website Anyone know where else to get it?

More than half of those POIs won't give you actual Internet connection.
