 is awesome.
This is very well put, this should be edited in the first post !
I didnīt know about Loopt, thanks for the 411. Mologo wasnīt exactly reliable for me, may be this is better (although 20 mns refresh time is a little slow but what the heck itīs free!!!). Thanks.
Cheers

Done!
Bugbyte, I am pretty sure you can have data service for $11 that comes out of your boost balance. This makes the monthly cost $11, not $21.

Where U at, cuz I know where I'm at?!?! I've got mologogo and my new I455 for the car SHWWEEETTT . Now I can just leave it in the car. No where near as fast as my Samsung A900 tethered through sprint(~930Kbs)... but hey... it's cheap, unlimited and it can stay in the car... I'm happy
I had a few issues getting it going... though see my comment below and you'll see why?!?! Helps if the data cable is plugged COMPLETELY into the phone... weird thing is, it was plugged well enough to charge the phone, but not have the data connection lol ... once I figured that out, everything worked like a charm.
Oh... and since I couldn't find a data cable that said it was specifically for my phone... found out it's the same as for the I730, etc... and the one from mogologogo is data and charging, even though it just says data. All for $10
Who else in my area is on w/ mologogo? I wanna know where you're at... can you find where I"m at?
/ugh...errr.. I need to go to sleep... I"m stupid after being up for over 24 hours... and I use wayyy to many smilies......

You know, I think you're right. I did the math wrong there. There's not an additional $10 charge. You load the minutes and they subtract from there. If you don't make calls on the phone, then the whole thing only costs $11 a month.
Such a deal!

fwiw... There's a seller on eBay doing the i455 for $46 shipped, with SIM card and the $10 usage credit.
http://search.ebay.com/_W0QQsassZkimsmarketplaceQQhtZ-1
And here's the cable for $10 shipped:
{link removed - cable wasn't a charging type. Buy the Mologogo offering!}
I just had to finally pull the trigger and give this a shot!
Thank you (again) BugByte!

Update...
The cable I had referred to above is NOT a charging cable. sigh. To the seller's credit, he didn't claim it was. I took a chance, my bad.
I ordered the cable from Mologogo, sounds like W3bMa5t3r found it to be a charger.
(edit: confirmed! it's a data/charging cable)
On other fronts... I'm having an "interesting time" getting the phone (i455) to show up in XP. It installs as a modem, but the JAL can't find it in order to install Mologogo.
Back to playing, and reading BugByte's posts closer.

I _just_ got it to work on my machine at the office. I'm not too sure what the difference was, but I've gone through a number of versions of WebJAL and the moto tools. I THINK I know what the difference was. Once I verify it at home, I'll document it somewhere.
woohoo!

Any idea on where I can purchase the cable at a retail store? I wanted to get this all set up this weekend.

one question,
can mologogo work while the computer is accessing the internet?
My plan is leaving mologogo on for 24 hours and keep sending it's location. So I know exactly where the car is, in case somebody steal it.
When I am using the car, I need to use internet for weather/traffic. Mogologo should still running and sending it's location at this point.
I don't want to set anything everytime I need internet.
Is it possible?

Yes. You can run mologogo as an app and simultaneously access the internet.
