Surprised I haven't seen anyone bring this up, but then I think the thing was only released recently.
Due to my Comcast connection crapping out earlier today, and my unwillingness to sit around while I wait for them to figure out what's going on (I work from home), I started looking around for a router that would work with my VZW Novatel V620 card.
Lo and behold, a search for EVDO on BestBuy.com yielded this.

Look! An EVDO Router that works with a bunch of cards, from both sprint and Verizon! How curious! Even better that it is NOT on D-Link's site.
The price online is not the price in store, btw. It's a full 199 if you go to pick it up, but still a good deal!
I've been toying with it a little bit. First of all, it's on the first revision of firmware (1.00, hardware A1), which was released Sept 6, 2006. Fairly scary, but it seems pretty solid. It's supposed to guide you through a 'setup wizard' when you connect and browse to the interface, but that part is a little weak. Just hit the 'manual configuration'. Unfortunately it refers you to the 'ISP' for your card for the connection settings, but the manual VZW settings worked fine for me (number@vzw3g.com, etc..)
It'll tell you your external IP, has WiFi-G built in, four ethernet ports on the back, and a USB port I haven't figured out yet. For a router that you just want to get online with, and is fairly portable, this is a pretty good deal. The box is probably a little bigger than the Linksys.
Let me know if you've got any questions, and i'll dig into it a little!
