Hey Void -

Where are you in SoCal? I am in South Orange County and I am thinking of getting one of these and it would be cool to see yours. How do you rate the build quality. Think this thing will hold up through years of daily use?

I'm in Bakersfield, about 2 hours north of you. If your up this way you could come see it.

Build quality seems to be good and solid from what i can tell so far. The only thing that concerns me, is the heat. I did get a message once that it was too hot for the G4 to start up. So I turned on the A/C and waited about 3-5 minutes til it cooled off, then it started right up on it's own.

Just taken delivery of a G4 here in Europe. I am testing it out-of-car on my workbench at present (like voidunknown's videos), and have a 12V supply connected but anyone know what voltage the ACC cable needs (the accessory one that tells G4 that power is going to accessories) - I *assume* it is 12V as well that would make sense.
