Copter,

USD Audio did well with their prducts in the early and mid 90's unfortunately I don't think they "advanced with the times" Eric Stevens @ Image is continously working to improve the performance of thier HLCD's new materials for the horns molds to improving the drivers year after year.

The ID horns are also a bit more user and install freindly.

There is still plenty of work to be done we have to fab up the amp rack trim panels and cover/trim panels for the Cap and floor sub as wells as new rear door panels.

Not to mention the hours of tuning tat still need to be done.

Took a road trip today about 700 miles about 10 hours. The system with the carnexit and a DSATX work great. Only one little thing happen the carnexit got a little hot and went into standby mode. I pulled over and got gas chilled for a few and started the truck back up and the power supply came back up and work for the rest of the trip no problems. Very happy with both of these power supplys. I'm running the computer on the DSATX and I'm hammering the carnexit. I'm running 1 10.4 and a 8 inch monitor. A DVD and a powered 7 port usb switch all on that carnexit and its just fine. After 6 hours and the worst thing that could happen is standby mode for a few untill it cools off a little hell i can handle that.

Ya' the Holdaway's seem to have dropped off the planet. I was lucky and got to demo the Speaker Works Buick as well as Harry Kimura's Acura and a few others they built. I met Eric Stevens at a show in Ventura back in tha' day and from talking to him he pretty much copied the WaveGuide and put his own spin on it. I got to demo Eric's Sable (remember that one?) for about a half hour and we discussed mounting options for the horns. Some guys I worked with in the 80's were using EV horns in the defroster vents and talk about dynamic stage and placement. WOW!!! Eric was very interested. Remember Mark Elridge's 4Runner? He used WG's on the dash.. Anyhow so much for the trip down memory lane.

I'm using it on my big PC right now. I'm sure if you look around the net you can find them cheap.
