well dont i look dumb... lol. i think that the final proiduct will not look out of place, it isnt going to look like the car came with it since its going to be painted habanaro red, but it wont look like it should get smashed off either...

My windows are tinted at 85%... you cant see much looking from the outside in, and yes the cops have stoped me before, the last time i buzzed my windows down and when the cop told me to rais the windos i told him that it was broken, he said that he was going to give me a ticket for the windows being inoperable, lol... i ntold him that the DOT regulations say that the windows need to go down for saftey but the book says that they do not need to go back up and that he doesnt have a leg to stand on, he says that he was going to give me a ticket for tint being to dark, so i told him to get his gun and try to scan the air, and he didnt have one so he got ****ed off and told me to watch my back, he he he...

Belive it or not but mine is almost the hight of yourse, i just took the shot from the side and not the front.

Once dontr i think that it will look like it belongs, I am following the cars styling cues, but if i dont like it I'll just get another $20 dash piece and make a new one...

I am used to ppl breaking into my cars,, my last one got broke into about 4 times..., i have servalace cams on my house now and they are big and obviouse...

It's sad when you get used to people breaking in to *****.. what is this world coming toż

Do you mean 15% because 85% is pretty see thru still. 100% is clear (tho most new carsdon't come with 100% anymore) and 0 would be pitch black. They measure it by the amount of light that is still let thru.

well when in the gps mode or the guages or cams or tv, it will display statistics like what song is playing, times, whos network im on, computer temp, its a heads up display that i can just glance at, but realy its something that i have no other use for and more of a trinket thats like hay look what i got...

I like the idea of haveing the song name or video/movie displayed.

I was thinking about displaying the title, artist, and album on a display in my rear view mirror, but i haven't messed with any software for it. If you find a good program will you link it here?

I'm interested to see how this turns out.

I'm just now reading up on getting a carPC going so I can have all my audio processing done by one central.

I was concerned that 8" was going to be pushing it, but heck... guess not now.
