2001 Infiniti I30t Install

After years and months of learning so much about carputers and looking at other people's installs and also being blown away by my bro's setup (quite basic at the time) I have finally installed mines. I contemplated a lot whether I should do it myself or have some "professionals" in the B.More area install it. My technical know-how about vehicles prior to this whole project was 0. So just a note to anyone out there, you can do it! All you have to do is give it a shot!

Special thanks goes out to my bro ~ices11~ for all those random calling questions and showing me his setup; my main guy, Homebrew (I like to think of him as the DYI KING) w/ the 2004 Mystichrome Cobra for his huge help on modding the lilliput to fit the bezel I had. And also to all my other mp3car comrades for their inspiring projects and inputs. Special shout out to the MD/VA/DC mp3car members.

PS: I still have a bunch of stuff to take care of so, It's not 100% complete. I'd say around 70%, but its fully functional. Please feel free to leave any comments both constructive and praiseworthy. Thanks

I'm trying to figure out where the hell I can mount the Powermate. It can't sit in the cup holder forever.

Looking at the stock bose faceplate... 2-tone looks ugly! Good job on the install so far.

Nice, I have a 2000 Maxima with a similar dash and am looking to do the same install. Where did you find the one piece double din dash piece?
Thanks,

Hey bro, I agree, the 2 tone was not attractive at all. It was just peradventure I ran into a dude who had those double din wood trim bezel plates. Definitely looks nice now. Install took me a couple hours to figure out...well worth it. Thanks!
