The box was assembled tonight. It turned out nice. All that is left to do is sand all glue down, stuff the box,

cover the box in carpet, and put the speakers in.

I used 8 spots on a ten pin terminal strip instead of a binding cup.
I also got a new optima yellow top today.



Here is the building of my speaker box to house 4x 6x9 speakers.

start out by measuring, 4 48" pieces of 3/4" MDF





then cut it down size:


Then glued the back and bottom together, and screwed it together:


Then put in the sides and the top:

here is what one empty cubby looks like:


Then ran wires and added terminal strip, I filled in around each speaker wire with my liquid nails:




Then cutout the 6x9" opening. (used the alpine diagram)

Put some plastic wood on tonight, I decided to paint the box white to math the roof of my van.
