Sweet setup. I love how you got everything in the OEM size box with the screen. I to have an Evo and am in the planning stages of fitting my setup in the shell of a OEM nave for my car.

Great work!

Will do!
Are you waiting to finish the Nav software project before you install it?

I have it in and out of the car often. I currently have no sound because I need a new amp. My front end is working nicely but is not pretty enough to release yet. It is just gray windows buttons and stuff, but has:

DVD player
CD player
Video file player
Audio file player
CD ripping
CD burning
DVD burning
Blu-ray burning
Navigation
HD Radio
Web browser (IE)

So I am working on making it look pretty. Also, I have to do routing in the nav so the user can get turn by turn directions.

Are you making a hole new front end, or just a skin?

Well I posted those pics of my nav program earlier...

I have to decide on a look & feel. It is still looking like a grey windows app.

Any ideas, anybody?

I have the computer most of the way finished. I keep taking it out of the car to do software work so it is not usually in the car for now...

I still need to do purchases for the sound system as I am using am old Kenwood excelon 2 ch amp for now (just to make sure the sound works).

I apologize if anyone is getting impatient, but I am very busy with work, girlfriend, and I am writing the whole front end myself. I am hesitant to show something that would give a bad impression of the final build...but I am starting to get focused on this project again so hopefully there will be an update soon.
