Wow, should have came and checked this out awhile ago. Very nice and clean..... Seeing its a LEXUS are you going to add more screens for like the back seats? I think you should go head and pimp that ride out to its fullest since youve already started.

PS: I can see you a real die hard sat radio fan. I am 2 but I got tired of paying seperate fees. I have been patiently waiting for the Sirius and XM merger, I so hate not have Area 33.

Completed the optical (S/PDIF) optical out mod on the XM Direct tuner using an optical board for an XMPCR unit. Shouts out to the XMfan guys for pinouts info.

rgarjr, how did you mount the pc? I just started my project on a '99 GS300. I bought a VOOM case, but i'm thinking about creating something myself so that I can mount it in the space where the 6disk change is or to the righ of that.

Thanks,

Vince

Well you're gonna have to remove your 6-disc changer if you wanna mount in in that area. I mounted mine to the right of it at first, but then i decided to remove the changer since i wasn't using it and made more room.

Thanks! That is what I was thinking as well. I don't use the changer. Did you create a custom enclosure for the pc components or where you able to find a case that would fit in that spot?

Thumbs up

Damn, that's one sweet setup.
I was just looking around to see if anyone had done a GS with a carputer and
your's definitely takes the cake.

Now i gotta start my project and post up here!

I got a 99 GS4.

You've given me some great ideas and thanx for listing all the parts you
used.
I'm sure you don't need them but i got some manuals for 99 GS300
if you ever need them, in pdf format. Technical stuff.

I'm out!
