Overkill to some people is perfect to others. Sounds like you have already decided what you want to do

Yea, I am going with the components then the 2 coaxials. I know that with a component it may be better for voice, but the only thing that comes out of center is usually voice, so it should be fine. If anything I could maybe mod the coaxials so they can use a crossover?

Depends on the coaxial and if you could tear it apart easily. Why not buy a mid and tweet from somewhere like parts express for the center. It'd be cheaper and wont matter that it's not the same brand as the door ones. They have some nice mids you can buy individually. What is your price range for the center channel?

I dont really have a price range...... I am spending $150.00 per pair for the components, so I guess around that range. I dont want to have to place 2 things in the dash. I just wanted a speaker with everything built in... I did find speakers that are made for center channel, but I rather just use a normal speaker.

Okay in that case, being that you only want to mount one thing. I'd just get a coaxial.
Might look into a audio forum like caraudio.com/forum and see if anyone has a used coaxial of your liking where they damaged the other one some how. It'd be cheaper then buying a set since you only need one.

Thanx for the advice, but I actually need 2 of the speakers. One is used for center and the other is for the phone speaker, which is at the bottom of the dash.

Oh i'm sorry. I misunderstood what you were doing, I thought you were using one speaker for both.

I wish I could do that, but I read that doing that would send feed back into each other and could damage my setup. Also Ive already cut the holes for each speaker.
On a side note, the new 40GB HDD came in today. Its a Samsung drive, built really well. It only cost me $24.00, which includes shipping. I had originally bought a 30GB SSD drive, but it turned out to be a MLC version which has issues when used as a main drive. I have never had a HDD drive die from heat or bumps so I decided to go back to normal HDD. I will retire the SSD to only holding the back up image for the main PC and the future 6 units, which will share the same image since all six will be the same hardware. If this new HDD works out, I am going to go ahead and buy 6 more, since they are so cheap. The only thing the HDD will be used for is reading, everything will be written to RAM using EWF and HORM, this will extend the HDD life and protect against corruption from user error and or viruses. I am still trying to figure out if I want to use EWF on the main system, since it uses alot of RAM for graphics. To bad I cant start to install Windows since my DVD caught on fire. I may simply connect a external DVD and install everything that way.
My next steps are to start to save and buy the speakers, amps, the additional screens and camera equipment for the 100% camera system. This will be over time since they are pricey items and the economy isn't being nice to me. Next year I will buy the 6 other units and three M4-ATX power supplies. Then I will have Nexson finish up all the fabrication stuff when I finally know everything is working 100%.

Info on what resolutions you guys use.
I was wondering what resolutions you guys use on your home computers. I am currently working on my site and right now it uses 1024x768. Anything lower then that will not fit in anything else. The site is designed in a way that it doesn't allow scroll bars, because the inside frames use scroll bars and I didn't like having 2 sets of bars. I added a code to block the main pages scroll bars.
Does anyone still use 800x600 now a days? If yes I may have to add a code to allow people on low resolutions to have scroll bars, because I do not want to redesign my site.

Sure, I use 800x480 on the carPC. I bet you'll find that resolution and a lot of 800x600 in carPCs.

Well I really doubt that Car PC users will look at this site in the car, thats why I asked what resolution they use on their home setup. I may create a mobile version of my site that PPC users and low resolution users can look at. I have been wanting to experiment with .mobi sites, so I may translate this site to a miobile version, but first I will finish the main one. I dont think people use anything other then 800x600 in the car. It cant go lower can it? I dont think my ATI chipset allows 600x480 or what ever the res is.

Its the same with my ATI.... It actually does allow me to adjust resolutions, but it has a weird bug. Sometimes when I come out of hibernation or boot for that matter, the front screen will display on the rear screens and back on the front screen. Only way to get rid of it is to uninstall and use Windows drivers. My understanding is that if you use a front end (which I think your a Centrafuse whore like me), so it will automatically adjust everything to work on 800x480. Its only Windows itself that will be 800x600.
Anyways, what resolutions are you using in your home PCs!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
