Is the 800x600 in your house!?!?!??! If yes, you have to be the odd one that still uses that, lol..... You know what though....... Its better if you guys just tried it. I added more categories, but no page is really done yet, some dont even exist. Tell me if it all fits in your screens without being cut off.
http://hijackzx1.com/home
PS: on the bottom of the site is going to be a small button that says ON, press it and try out my player. i had to do alot of coding for that small little b!+ch, so I want to make sure it works for everyone. If you do not see the off button then the site is being cut off because your res is too low.

Its supposed to be small and minimilistic..... All the content will be where you like see the picture of the girl, and that will be scrollable. Since its not a big info site, at least not compared to my other site projects, that I wanted to do it that way. Its the first one I have done like this.

Well previously I had drilled a hole in the second row pillar and stuck a webcam in there. i didnt like the cam there because it was hard to adjust so I bought a snake cam for the center console. I couldnt think of what to do with the hole, so I decided to place the I/R sensor for my media remote there. I wanted to put it in the front but when the 19 inch is down, the remote will not make contact. I decided to put the sensor in that hole. I did not do a neat job, so it is another project for Nexon.

WOW.....<--- that's all I can say!!
I just finished this worklog from Beginning to end...I am pumped to see the finished project. I am definitely going to mimic some of your ideas!! Maybe I will put a logo of your site on my ride...lol!
I'm doing a really big install on my 2000 Excursion just like this. I am in the research and development phase now. I know a lot of the products that will go in but things can change. I am def. doing a show concept though!
Here is my shopping list so far:
My plans so far include the following equipment:
Kenwood DDX6019 Double Din DVD - <----already installed
Most Car audio will be Power Acoustik( I know it isn't the best but the value is great
2x-4x BAMF 5500/1 D Amps
4x-6x PA MOFO 12" Subs = 2600Watts rms each!!
2x PA MoFo 15" Subs
2x PA 20 Farad Caps
3sets PA component set-ups(6.5" + Tweeter+High/Mid Filters)
1x Kinetik HC 2400 - <------Already received
5x Kinetik HC 2000
2x High Output Alternators w/ dual alternator Bracket
CarPC setup is unknown at this time but I believe I will have 3 diiferent PC's in the ride, 1 for driver, 1 for 2nd row, 1 for 3rd row.
1x 11" Touch LCD in drivers intergration
2x 15" Touch LCD's in 2nd row
1x 26" Frame-less LCD in rear tail door
1x 32" Frame-less LCD in other Rear tail door( will be one screen when closed, 2 when open)
Looking into the connect2car systems...thanks to Maheriano from a diff. thread. I am really PC illiterate though and very mechanically inclined so I have many ideas and I will research and research before I actually install...Like so many of us money is very tight these days so I need MINIMAL mistakes.
AWESOME JOB SO FAR HiJack

AWESOME JOB SO FAR HiJack
OMG, your Audio setup is scary. Is that the shaking I feel all the time, lol. I am so glad I am the opposite of you, I am computer literate, but audio illiterate. Just browse some of my threads and u'll see I am so confused about the audio side. I wanted a simple 100 RMS per speaker and one 10 inch sub, which is 500 RMS. I was back and forth on what type of speakers to use, Component or Coaxial. I have been getting help from SoundMan98, digital79, sponge, nalav, and sporty drew, and even with that I am still lost. I then decided to finally, last night, go with this setup.
In the front dash will go a 5x7 coaxial speaker. For the front doors will go a 6 1/2 component speaker (have not decided on tweeter location, Durango owners complain that the stock location in the A-sail on the door sounds $h!++y). Then for the second and third row I was going to go with all 6 1/2 Coaxials. If I cant figure out a location to go with for the tweeter, I may just go with 100% coaxials all around. Even when I had the cr@ppy Dodge factory speakers, they sounded good to me. So I can imagine that Alpine SPR-17C speakers will sound super amazing even though they would be coaxials. The replacements will be 100 RMS for the coaxials and 110 RMS for the components. I just need to do a bit more research on the front doors on the tweeter location.
As for the multi PC setup..... Its a bit confusing, once I start to get the components for that part of the build I can lay it out a bit better. One thing that was a b!+ch is to give each use the ability to toggle from PC to PC. I have to use 6 KVM switches with audio to get this done, because you will have the 2nd and 3rd sharing PCs, you will only need 2 KVM switches. Also the powering was an issue for me. I am going with very thin ATOM boards to fit the special case, but to power the whole setup, I need 3 M4-ATX PSUs. Depending on the board you choose, you may need a PSU for each unit. I could fit 2 PC onto one PSU because the boards I am getting use laptop power ports to get power and its own dedicated built on power regulation. Depending on how your install goes, I may be of help. If you go with regular stuff like most people use, your install will go a different direction then mine because I had to choose my technology by cost, and space. You seem to have a higher budget, just looking at the audio, and you have 1 million times more space.

Yea, my site may be real small on the projector, since its already made to be a very small mini site.

I just got done reading a post in the dodge forums. I figured that I would talk to alot of Durango owners and see what they say about speaker setup. All complained that the way the interior is designed that there is major echo, and other bad effects, one being time alignment issues. The best placement for the tweeter is near the woofer. I decided that if I have to have the tweeter near the woofer anyways, I might as well go 100% Coaxial. Components don't sound good in the A-Pilar, the A-Sail (which is were the manufacturer location is) and the upper door. Seems only the lower part is good sound. I'm really glad I didn't go through the mission of trying to do this.

Today I received the new 50 pin JAE to IDE converter. It is much better built then the one that sparked and caught fire. Also with the new one it is impossible to accidentally put the IDE cable wrong. Also the power cable is much more sturdy. I ordered a AlienWare slot load DVD ROM. Also has the ability to burn CDs which I think is overkill for a car, but at $30.00 including shipping, I could resist. Next I have to order all the electrical stuff, like the 0 gauge wiring and splitters for that. One thing I did do is upgrade all the 8 gauge wire to 4 gauge which will connect to the 0 gauge. On all my cable runs, the wire from the PC to the fuse box was run half @$$ed. Half was hidden under carpet and the other was run over the carpet under the seat. Ive decided to just take the seat out and run it under also so it doesn't look awkward. I also had a 22 gauge wire that run under the car with 4 gauge wire, that was for the camera. I have now decided to run it with the relay wire for the new PSUs in the back, which are woven into the cars original wire harness. Basically I am trying to get electrical away from speaker and USB wire. I do not want any EMI at all.

Going to try to change out my $h!++y 8 gauge wire on my trucks alternator, battery and ground point. I think this is why I am having issues with not enough juice. Its not that the truck cant create it, it just cant push it through the cr@ppy stock wire. I am basically doing the "BIG 3" update. I want my car to be able to send electricity with ease.
