i think i will give it a shot to order it
because for 220 dollars i cant get a roof screen 15 inch here in nl

=

here you get for 193 euro a 10.4 inch screen and its not a rooftop screen
and the touchscreen thingy thats also nice to have ofcourse but not really necessary for in the back

Looks great. Being a Durango owner too, I don't see to many mods done. Here is my dash. I moved all the heat and air below to the center console.

OH WOW, that looks nice.... I really have way to many wires running through the center console, I could not add anymore, nor did I want to move the controls. I sent my dash to Nexson. I decided that the screen had to look like a headunit type setup, to me a single piece like your setup doesnt look like something Dodge would do, it looks custom. It does look really nice and clean though. Also you lost cup holders didnt you? Here is a pic of what he has done so far.

The issue is the 2 screens at the top of the dash. Also the second new console needs to have curves like the front console, but I am not sure if I should have it fiber glassed, or use foam to add the shape to the MDF then cover it in leather. On my install you wont see many custom things, because I dont want it to show that its custom. That was the reason I trashed the Version 1 second console, it just looked to custom and not like something that came with the car. I want people to get in my car and say, there is nothing special about this car, then BOOOMMMM, lol. Let me ask though, dont you hate that Dodge made that piece one large piece that is so hard to get out and in? What size screen is that, a 8 inch?

Also I added the 9th speaker for the phone setup. I put it on the panel were the cigarette lighter is. If you look on Volsfan pic you can see the power socket at the bottom.... I already ran the cable from the PC to the AMP in the rear, but I now have to run the speaker wire from the AMP to the speaker, which isnt easy once you get to the rear of the car.

PS: Are you kidding me Volsfan, you even have the same motherboard? Do you still have the KINO-690 S1? Only diffrence is I have a different processor. Also were did you put your PC?

i found another website with cheap stuff on it but its all from china
tried on google cnbuynet reviews
but can´t find much info of it
they got cheap touchscreens , but not rooftop

ahhhhh, there was a flaw I experienced with the screen. It says VGA but it doesnt have a VGA connector. When I opened the unit, it has a small port which you connect a special cable with the VGA connector on the end. I think all the screens had this issue and most likely she got tired of having to order it from Shark. On a brighter note I found a site that sells really cheap stuff. I was looking for a stereo soundcard for my IR headphones. I am already using the onboard soundcard for phone, the PCI card for the 7.1 surround sound, and now a USB soundcard thats $6.95!!!!!!!!!!!!! Here is a link to them, they have alot of stuff, dont know if the products are any good.

PS: If you cant find a VGA roof top screen then buy the one you linked too and have a fabricator create a case that can flip down for. It will be pricey though.

I am so pi$$ed beyond imagination. Today the UPS man comes and he is delivering a package. I see a IEI box sitting on his stuff and I was like, omg, thats mine. He turns around and says no its not, its for another building. So I was like no its not, no one else orders from IEI but me, lol. So he gives it to me and I was so happy. This is were the pi$$ed part comes in, they sent me a new version of the board, which is diffrent. Headers are diffrent and worst of all there is no PCI slot, only that stupid mini PCI $h!t, that sits so far back on the MoBo that if anything goes into it, it will get in the way of the center console I just designed!!!!!!!!!!! Also i bought a SoundBlaster XtremeGamer soundcard, but in PCI form, now its useless. I mean I do see that the board is now stronger, and transistors that were then fragile are now solid. I mean but why take away something that important???????????? Do they honestly think that everyone uses mini pci? OMG, now I have to figure something out.....

Now that the rant is over, i called them and told them that i didnt understand why it did not have a PCI slot. He asked me to read off the identification number to him, which is KINO-6901-R11.... it should read KINO-690S1-R11.... He says that they accidently sent me a project board that they use for testing. He has sent me a replacement that should be here in 3 days. I swear if IEI wasnt the only one that makes this configuration of MoBo, i would have went to a new company!

OK, I realized that my console had a flaw, I made the cabin floor at a slant, but once I put the X-FI in, the slant will not allow clearance. So now I have redone it so it goes flat across and is set alittle higher. I also made the cover for the top air vent, all I need to do is cut the holes for the vents. I also need to do this for the rear of the console. Here are better pix!

Here is the view from the bottom. The little slot is were the metal case of the PC meets up with the console. This creates the seal for the air vent.

Here will be were the holes get cut for the vents.

This is the bottom back of the console, It will also get holes for vents and grills.

WHAT!!!!!!!!!!! Thats crazy.... Arent you closer to China? What were you ordering from there? Maybe its cheaper to send to someone in America, then they ship it to you?

PS: Here is the link to my front dash that Nexson Designs is doing for me, I just didnt have the skills to do it myself. He is also going to do the top of dash with the 2 custom flip up screens. JR House of Designs will be doing the upholstery for center console #2, but this time I am really going to make sure it comes out perfect.

yeah dont know how much it actually costs from usa to NL
the stuff i ordered is a 15"touch screen
2 licenseplate cams and a rearview mirrorscreen machine something similair like yours
and i dont know any body in the usa

so thats going to be a problem then
