Has a beta version come out yet? I like the way it looks. If there isn't a beta yet, I may just re-purpose my Parrot Hands-Free box for a while...

(Not really rip, but you know what I mean...)

I'll have to look into the whole slide in case idea. And find some of that padding. But first I need to check that panel and the clearance out...

So . . . what are those dashspace dimensions?

idk I didn't take the dash apart to check. I did however take the side panel apart and I got the computer to fit in there. It just barely clears everything. I blew 3 fuses while rewiring everything but it all works and is outta sight outta mind... Finally. Pix to come after I leave walmart.

......My bad. I'll do pix tomorrow. I got home from Wal-Mart at 7:30, ate, took care of the dogs(feed, put outside, etc.), and I was so tired, I forgot to take pix. I still need to put panel back together, so I can take pix when I put it back together in the morning. They may or may not be very clear, but I'll do my best.

An issue came up while I was taking these pix. The light on the Opus was blinking 5 times. The computer was running though. What does 5 blinks mean? The manual only shows up to 4.

BTW, here are pix:

Behind the panel

AUX fan to circulate fresh air

Different shot behind the panel

Is you OPUS in the case also? It means overheating..... D@mn I wish you lived closer, I could design you a new case. Ive done it so many times now, I think Ive become a pro at it..... Get farther back, I need to see pics of that whole side. Maybe i can design one and your fabricator friend builds it. I have an idea of what to do. Basically the gap fits the PC, but its obviously not circulating enough air. To save me having to read your whole thread again, what MoBo do you have? I will design a thin case that can draw air in, and expell air, but need very little modding of the panel. Take pictures with the panel closed so I can see the top.

That's a pretty serious issue not to have mentioned in the manual.

I can't tell from the pictures but is it possible to just add a fan in the panel near the carputer? At least you noticed the lights before sealing it all up.

I found it in the OPUS 360 manual. They use the same codes on all their PSUs. It looks like codes 5 and 6 were cut off on making of the manual. So yes, 5 means overheating.

I've been helping my dad get some stuff taken care of so I can use his truck while the turtle is in the shop. I'll take some new pix when I finish helping him. I think I can temporarily solve the overheat issue by putting a fan on the side that has a hole going to the trunk. I'll pull the case and take pix of it too. I use an Intel Atom. The cheapest one in the store here. Idk the model number... K g2g I'll be back later.
