Yeah, no body kit, YET. But I am planning on getting the windows redone, plus the LEDs should be in eventually.

Tidder et al: The LED bulbs came in yesterday. I immediately installed them. Pix follow.
Whether or not it is visible in these pix, the tail lights are dim when the headlights are switched on, and brighter when the brakes are pressed.

Are your blinkers faster now? I know that because LED bulbs use lower power and the car measures resistance to tell you if the light is blown, the blinker will blink fast to tell you the light is blown. When I bought them for my dearly departed Porsche, I had to buy special resistors to make the lights blink normal. If you need them, I have them here at home.

In fact, they are faster now. If you have them, sure, I'll take them. How are they installed?

According to the Toyota forums I've crawled, the flasher can be modded/replaced, a load distributer can be used, or resistors can be placed on the bulbs. I was just wondering.

HOLY ****! I just spent 4 hours STRAIGHT rewiring my stereo again. I took a SHARP turn today and I heard wires snap and sparks. I pulled over as soon as I could and pulled several fuses just to be safe. When I got home, I inspected my wires under my dash. My remote/amp on wire, and both wires to my rear left speaker had gotten caught in the steering joint and sliced them in two. Needless to say, I ran them differently this time. And I zip-tied them away from the joint, so there is barely a remote chance of them getting caught again. I just PM'd HiJack, and am now going to sleep. Laters to all!

I went to Roswell today to see Project 86 in concert, and on my way back, I got a BSoD with the 0x000000f4 stop code. I rebooted my CarPC, and all was fine. IDK WTF the problem could be, Google tells me it could be loose connections, bad hardware, faulty drivers, or worse, a dying HD!!! OMG! I seriously hope it's not a dying HD, it would be my second HD to die on me, and I would seriously have to consider an SSD... DAMN, it seems that one problem(wiring) leads to another(this).... Wish me luck!

Another One Bites The Dust...?
Well, that might make two HDs I've gone through. On my way to church this morning, I let it fire up, and was almost immediately presented with an error stating, "Could not locate the file: SYSTEM32\DRIVERS\pci.sys Please run the repair tool frim your Windows install disc." Something like that. But then I tried again coming home and it BSoD'd again. I'm gonna try the repair after I test the HD for signs of an upcoming failure. Wish me luck!
