LOL... I got to looking at who has posted what since I first started this thread... Around half of Tidder's posts here have been "PIX?" (Tidder keeps me in line on my pix, I tend to do stuff and not document it like I should.) Everyone else has been really supportive of this worklog. I really appreciate all of the help/feedback. I leave tomorrow at 8am for Dallas, TX with ENMU-R. We are going on a campus tour and Six Flags Over Texas(Arlington), I've been to this same Six Flags 7 times (I think... I've kinda lost count. ) Medieval Times and some museums. I'll be gone until Tuesday, but I will have my EEEPC with me and the hotel has Wi-Fi, so I'll stay as up-to-date as I can while I'm gone.

No running thru the halls, just lots of prank calls to the other kids rooms...(and asking for an "Earl"... and hearing false (at least, I hope) stories of murder, and hilarity ensuing. I found those terminals HiJack used at a dollar store here in Dallas a 2-pack for one $1.12. I also picked up a D-Link router and wireless card combo, retail $50, I got them for $10 and they work!

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA, OMG, then I got ripped off, I paid $4.00 for each. Yea I am trashing them though, I am going with the 3 port 0 gauge terminals from knukonceptz. I told myself I would stop trying to cheap out on things, but I guess the habit came back with the terminals.

One of our pranks -- a long time ago -- was to call someone and ask for "Earl" (or some unlikely name). Within 30 minutes or so, several people would call the same number, all asking for "Earl", and getting turned away. When we sensed the frustration level going up on the other end, one of us would call and, in a deep voice, say, "This is Earl. Have there been any calls for me?"

Some of the responses were priceless -- and often unprintable.

We've had some pretty rich responses, particularly since we accidentally called the front desk. We haven't done the whole callback thing, but we had planned on something similar. Appearently, we aren't the first to do the "Earl" call. The front desk threatened us, so... But I gotta go for now

Well, I'm back home again. I figured out the problem with the OPUS. The 2-pin connector on the OPUS doesn't hold the plug snug as it should; the pins aren't making good contact. Any suggestions?

Also, fixed a massive oil leak today, the valve cover gasket was FUBAR; oil ALL OVER the engine bay, I gotta take it to the car wash tomorrow and blast it out(might as well humor myself and wash it, then watch it get rained on... )

What 2 pin connector? What does it do? You mean the one for the power button to the MoBo?

I try to clean my engine as often as possible. I hate grunge on my engine. My water pump exploded a while back, so I havent cleaned it since then. You remineded me I have to though.

That's exactly the one I was talking about. Any ideas on what I should do to fix that?

What type of connector are you using. I know it uses a special connector, because mine came with it, once you connect them it solids. It cannot come loose at all. I forgot where it came from, you may want to email Opus and ask them what it is called.

Forgot to mention, I finished the cold air intake today after I got the valve cover gasket replaced. I feel a little more power, but IDK if that's just me or if it truly has more power.

I would take a look. The connector is very very solid. Maybe you are putting on backwards. When you like them into each other you should feel a kind of snap. If you dont feel the snap, then it may be backwards. There is a tiny line on the connector, its kind of raised, you slid that side into the side that is missing that line. that aligns them.
