I got the joystick working and functional. It is a logitech 3D extreme not as advanced as some other joysticks but it should work for everything I need. I also reworked the base and mounted the buttons in a project enclosure. I then placed them next to the shifter. I would post photos but my cameras battery is dead, its on my list to buy tonight. It is not the best install but I didn't want to cut up my console to make it look OEM
