Total Prep Time: 2 months in between
Making a Aux-in from 3.5mm to rca by cutting the "3.5mm" headphone jack off and soldering the right/left + ground wire to the aux-in jack. Electric tape and heat shrink after.
Making a template for my carputer enclosure using "Basic Cardboard". I didnt actually follow the template, it was to show how can I cut into the metal sheet. I need to paint it or just add some subwoofer carpeting onto it for the finish product.
I thought getting the Metra kit would easily allow me fit the lilliput. I was wrong and should have took measurements. I have to mold the dd dash to fit the lilliput. At first I was just drilling holes and sanding that became a very SLOW process. I since then moved everything for cutting using a dremel tool with #402 or #420 disc? (plastic, metal, wood cutting disc) sanding using 120grit then smooth out using sand sponge or 3m 400 grit. I have to also tape off the lines so it be easier to dremel. The sanding/primer/paint took about 1 week. (Metra Kit - Left) // (EBY701 - Right)
Car wiring - Entire car taken apart.
