Thanks
Just looked at the progress today. The monitor is now fully mounted in there. After the sanding and priming, it looks stock, which is my goal The cupholder has now even lost is crackline after being glued, sanded, and primed. I'm toying with the idea of shoving in a phaeton cupholder in place of the stock one (the one in the center, not the flipout one), and adding another cupholder for the center... I want to do some generational planning by getting rid of the flipout one.
I've got tons more schematics right at my hand, just not enough time to put them to photoshop. I'll do a few tonight though

so what you're doing with the A/C unit is having the faceplate there but the unit behind the faceplate located somewhere else?
If that were the case, i'd have sooo much room for my computer back there...
Finally bought a slot load dvd drive from pcalchemy..gotta put that into my version 3 this summer...

No faceplate. No need for it since I've now figured out the pinouts, and I just need to chop up that 20 pin cable connecting the face to the controller. So no more face with broken display Hopefully my grandpa will be able to figure out the secret behind the interface to the AC knob.
Your projects end up looking great, looking foreward to it

I've got just one more... the LED one. Gonna do that one tomorrow.
This is for the AC button, the front and rear defrosters.

Thanks
My uncle should be about done with the faceplate. That means its time for my grandpa to start thinking of how to make a controller with a lot of inputs and outputs. Also time for me to get parts for the puter and sound system

I got the car for $6400 w/o tax ($7200 w/tax). Found it on autotrader
Its a great deal! The drivetrain is awesome! Do oil changes, etc, and it will keep on lasting. But my car gets like 12mpg in the city, and 14 on the highway The v8s are actually more efficient Check out www.clublexus.com
