Do your self a favor and buy an SLA battery. I think I got mine for like $80 at PepBoys (For an Odyssey, not an Optima, but it's just as good). I also got a tiny Bat-Cap 800 running in parallel mostly for my subs (expensive but very cool).

Yeh. Its a great car! And I'd spend the money I get on mods

Why I said in 3 years: my cousin was in an accident twice in like 4 years. They didn't total the car because it was less than a year old. On an old car with a low resale value, they probaby would have totalled it.

SLA battery
So I guess you don't recommend a yellow top?

A "yellow top" is a nick name for the top-of-the-line Optima SLA (that has a yellow top) . SLA = Sealed Lead-Acid. Optimas are the best known SLAs, but you can get SLAs from other mfgs for a lot cheaper.

Oh, ok. So I guess you recommend an Oddesy. I'm going to run my battery until it dies though (which should be soon)

us europeans with the gasprices you have over there..

I live in Sweden, just filled up the tank last friday..
With some quick math (and a online currency calculator )
I found out that I pay $1.4962 per LITRE!
Just for you who doesn't know: 1 gallon = 3.8 litres..
Which means that I would be paying $5.68556 per gallon

While you're spending 47/20 = ~$2.35/gallon

Eeeeeekk... I have to move to the US

Cheers
/p

Ouch. I've been paying $2.87/gal for some time since I need premium, and I thought that was just sick as I remember when it was well under $2 (closer to $1) not so very long ago. At $5.65/gal I couldn't afford a CarPC.

On the other hand... the dollar is so crappy right now that the exchange-rate does kinda sque the price-to-income ratio. Everything over there is WAY expensive to us.

I managed to get my car when gas prices were over $2... so I guess I'm used to it

I also need premium... mine's a high compression engine

Well, its a bit brighter, but that's probably because my roof is dirty and faded. But its a bit brighter than my trunk. But its not very noticeable. Plus I need a repaint anyways
